Email us
We take questions by email and reply as soon as we can. You can write in English or Korean. Reports of calculation errors are always handled first.
What helps us most
When a result looks wrong
If a result differs from an official calculator (for example the National Tax Service's Hometax, or a public agency's calculator), please tell us. Including the following makes it much quicker to check:
- Which calculator (the page address)
- The values you entered (for example: salary ₩48,000,000 / 2 dependents / ₩200,000 meal allowance)
- The result this site showed, and the result you expected
- Where the comparison figure came from, if you have one
Requests for new calculators
If you need a calculation that is not here yet — or an English version of one that exists only in the Korean edition — let us know, with a line or two about your situation. It helps us decide what to add next.
Rate changes
If a law or rate has changed and the site still shows the old one, please send a link to the official announcement if you can, and we will update it.
Partnerships and advertising
Questions about content partnerships, advertising or quoting our data go to the same address.
How a report is handled
- Reproduce — we enter your values and check we get the same result.
- Compare — we check against official calculators and the published rates.
- Find the cause — a wrong formula, an outdated rate, or something the calculator was never designed to cover.
- Fix or explain — we fix what can be fixed, and add what cannot to the page's list of things the calculator does not include.
Every fix that changes a result is recorded in the correction log (Korean). We never correct numbers silently, because people use them for decisions about money.
What we can't help with
This site provides calculation tools, not tax, legal or investment advice. We can't answer questions like "How much tax will I owe in my situation?", recommend loan products, or review contracts.
For those, ask your employer's payroll team, the National Tax Service consultation center (126), or a licensed tax accountant or lawyer. For problems at work such as unpaid wages or severance, contact the Ministry of Employment and Labor (1350). The Immigration Contact Center (1345) answers general questions from foreign residents in many languages.
